Hi. I’m Andrew and I’ve been running a D&D Campaign for my friends for over three years now. When we started none of us knew what we were doing. We’re still learning. I am by no means an expert, but I know what it’s like to be a beginner prepping before a gaming session and not knowing where to start. Luckily, there are a lot of fantastic resources online, and I thought that as I research for my own sessions I could also create another resource for the community.

So, here it is. As I come up with new encounters, spend time looking up how a rule works, or find some new tip or trick, I’ll post it here and hopefully it will help someone else as well. I’m going to focus mainly on fifth edition, becuase that’s what we play and will probably continue to play for some time. I signed up to be a play tester for the next edition (One D&D) but I haven’t run any of that yet.

Like many other things in life, I feel like I’ll forever be learning something new with playing D&D. I hope this site serves as both a reference for my future self, and for an untold number of future players.
